My 2004 Pontiac Grand AM GT

I bought this car with the intent to fix and keep for nostalgia of my first car (2002 grand am se)

- July 2023
I bought a 2004 grand am gt for $600 needing an engine

- September 2023
I cleaned and detailed it with the help of my friend who does detailing for a living and after that, I parked it in prep for the engine swap.

- September 2023 - September 2024
Removed old engine
Bought a junkyard engine and refreshed it with all new gaskets, oil pump, lifters, spark plugs, and wires
Also replaced the horn, headlights, and outer tierods

- September 2024 - current (November 2024)
Got car running, inspected & tagged, tuned with HPtuners (fuel economy & performance)
Car still needs the radio rewired, rear driver window replaced, and an alignment

Future plans:
If I end up keeping it, I’d like to do a turbo with 5 speed swap
Cam with springs
Bigger brakes
Bigger wheels

This car has been sold to a friend of mine in need. It was fun but at the end of the day, I didn’t need it.
